Apple pie recipe

My apple tree produced good apples so I have been using them as much as possible; I've dried them, made apple sauce, and have used them as fillings. Here, I share my best
 apple pie recipe.

Pie crust: Use 2 cups all-purpose flour and 1tsp of salt.
Use 3/4 cup of COLD margerine. Combine untill they are crumbs. If you don't have a processor, two butter knives do the job.
Add 1 Tblsp of apple cider vinegar, and 4-5 Tblsp of ICE water--it's very important that the water is cold. Pulse in food processor or mix with a fork until it just comes together making the dough. (Pulse about 19 times in food processor)
Don't over work the dough.
Cover with plastic and put dough in fridge from 15 minutes or until the next day.
Peel and cut 5 apples
In a container, add the apples, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 Tblsp cornstarch, and 1 Tblsp lemon juice. Toss to coat apples.
Divide dough into two equal halves. Roll dough with a COLD roller. Tip: It's a good idea to put the roller in the fridge prior to use to keep it cold.

Wrap dough around the roller to transfer it to the pie dish for baking.
After situating dough in pie dish, add the apples. Roll out the other half of the dough and cover the entire pie. Seal the edges by pinching the dough together.

Make a few oppenings in the center of the pie to allow air to escape during cooking. Garnish with milk. Cook at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking another 35 minutes. Let cool, and serve with a side of vanilla ice cream. I hope you like this recipe.
